Roberto Lazzeroni

Roberto Lazzeroni was born in Pisa in 1950. His professional training is the result of studies in Art and Architecture in Florence. From the beginning he has always shown an interest both in the phenomena of the world of conceptual art and of Radical Design. He professionally began his career in the early 1980s with a series of important “Interior Architecture” works.
The “Interiors architecture” is a fundamental specialization for the following approach to the world of product design. Being a fine connoisseur of the history of design and its related signs, when talking about his own projects, Lazzeroni uses the expression of “sentimental design”; it is indeed easy, even for an untrained eye, to see the tension between past and future in his works.
Today he is busy on different fronts, with prestigious collaborations, art direction and projects of interiors and contract in various parts of the world. He has been working with Zanotta since 2018.
