The celebrations for the Sacco's 50th anniversary still go on in the capital of design: Zanotta joins the Brera Design Days 2019 programme.

The window of the Zanotta showroom enclosed in the poetic architecture of the Excise Buildings at Porta Garibaldi, hosts an installation dedicated to Sacco Goes Green, the new special, eco-sustainable version of Sacco.

Three Sacco are displayed, one for each colour in which the pattern designed by Pierre Charpin is used, featuring the cover of the exclusive limited-edition range consisting of 300 pieces. The French designer has been inspired by the provenance of the thread selected for Sacco Goes Green, a 100% completely renewed nylon thread derived from abandoned fishing nets and other industrial plastic waste recovered from the seabed. Starting from the concept of "net", Charpin has conceived an idea of an intricate interweaving of coloured lines fitting the Sacco’s shapes without modifying the pattern aspect.

In the background of the showroom window, the big light-wall is therefore characterised by the same graphics of the Sacco armchair. On October 4th, during the opening day of the Brera Design Days 2019, a cocktail was held to present the Sacco, attended by a lot of designers, architects, customers and design lovers.
