From November 5 to 12, the exhibition “Red, the colour of passion” is being held in Zagreb, dedicated to Italian Design, as celebration of the Italian Design Day that this year focuses on “Designing the future. Development, innovation, sustainability, beauty.”
The exhibition is organized by the Institute of Culture (ICE) in Zagreb, with coordination of the Italian Embassy and in collaboration with the Zagreb Design Week. The goal of this event is to bring Zagreb’s refined audience closer to Italian design, showing them a selection of iconic objects designed by renowned designers exclusively in the colour red, which stands as an emotional symbol of the Italian excellence in the world. Everyday objects considered classics all over the world are presented, included the Sacco easy chair, that just this year has been awarded with the Compasso d’Oro lifetime achievement by ADI.
