The exhibition introduces French designers who contributed to spread the culture of national project in the world thanks to design products and innovative design solutions. Going through the teachings of reference figures from the era of design origin, such as Jacques Viénot, Pierre Paulin, Roger Tallon and Marc Berthier, the exhibition shows the evolution of French design through generations of authors who stood out on the international spotlight as well as the designers who are going to write the future, starting from social, environmental, digital, scientific changes of general interest.
Among the selected talents, Constance Guisset will participate with the armchair Oliva designed for Zanotta: a project featuring formal elegance but hiding innovative solutions in the connection between the frame and the padded elements. Like an open shell, the armchair welcomes and embraces the person within two soft cushions that form the seat and backrest. The front legs pass through the seating element to join the rear legs at the backrest height, creating an impressive light effect of the frame and a suspended balance of the padded elements.
