Zanotta participates in the seventh edition of Design Shanghai also this year, that will be held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from November 26 to 29, 2020.
The stand, located in the Contemporary Design Hall, welcome visitors in different areas where the new products of the 2020 collection are displayed aside the historical icons and the pieces from the latest collections.
At the entrance, on a platform dedicated to the brand’s historical icons we find the armchairs Sacco and Genni, the clothes-stand Sciangai and the stool Mezzadro. In the living area we find the sofa Shiki (design Damian Williamson 2019) and the armchairs Maggiolina by Zanuso, together with the storage unit Carlino CM by Mollino and the Graphium coffee table (design Garcia Cumini 2019) featuring the symmetry of the marble top. In the dining space, the iconic table Reale CM by Mollino matches with the armchairs Nena (design Lanzavecchia+Wai 2020) featuring soft and enveloping volumes, aside some objects with outstanding personality such as the stool Sella, on which one can seat in dynamic balance, and the rotating shelf unit Joy. Some pieces of the new Back to emotions 2020 collection are displayed in another living area, such as the sculptural rocking chaise longue Rider (design Ludovica+Roberto Palomba 2020), and the monobloc sofa Hiro (design Damian Williamson 2018), with essential and contemporary shape, matching with the service tables Servomuto and with the coffee tables Echino. This area is completed by the writing desk Tucano with cowhide top (design Monica Förster 2020), the ideal piece for home working, and by the chair Dan (design Patrick Norguet 2020) in its high-tech version featuring the seat made of stretched straps on a steel tubular frame.
